I finished my first square--the Julie H. Levy square. I decided to start with one that was labeled one of the easiest. It's not blocked yet, but here it is:
I've already started on my next square--the Ginette Belanger square. I'm working them all in Lion Brand Yarn Wool Ease Fisherman.
Lion Brand Wool Ease is not the best yarn out there, but I picked it for 2 reasons--one, it's washable, and two, it's common and won't be going out of production for a long time. I didn't want to start with a yarn where I felt like I was going to have to buy 30 skeins up front!! I can buy this 2 or 3 skeins at a time as I go.

Congratulations! It is going to be a long process but I'm sure you'll enjoy the knitting as much as I did.
It's beautiful.
I really need to decide on a yarn and start.
