These are two of my squares so far - put together from a stitch manual I got secondhand. The sizes are slightly random, but blocking seems to fix everything!
No - I've got twelve squares done so am nearly halfway through. I'm doing a five-by-five block afghan and each block is about 13 inches square. The aim is for it to be a double-bed-sized spread when it's done!
I bought the book some time ago but haven't really make a plan to start the afghan. This week I will look for yarn and read through the book. That will be a start. I look forward to reading about your progress. About how long does it take you to knit up a square?

Are these your first squares completed?
