My name is Marti Kaplan, and I've just joined a group working on the Great American Aran Afghan. I've finished Ginette Belanger’s square, and am just beginning Barbara Selesnick's. In about a month, I'll be moving to Arizona, and so am looking forward to being a part of the blog, since I won't have my ftf group to work with.

I just finished the Berztiss square last night. Although it was my first, I had to put it down a couple of times to become more familiar with the jargon and charts, I am now 14 squares to go.
Loving the project.
I too live in Arizona, hard to find decent groups to crochet/knit with here.
